Ferry
Start your journey from Nólsoy by heading towards the ferry terminal located at the northeastern end of the village. Look for the ferry that operates between Nólsoy and Tórshavn. The ferry ride takes approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Tórshavn ferry terminal, follow the signs that lead you to the exit.

After disembarking the ferry in Tórshavn, exit the terminal and head to the nearest bus stop. You will want to take bus number 1 towards Hoyvík. The bus will take you directly to Hoyvík, where Tjóðsavnið (Faroe Islands National Museum) is located. The ride will take around 15-20 minutes.

Once you arrive at the Hoyvík bus stop, disembark and walk towards Brekkutún street. You will be looking for the building at 6 Brekkutún. The museum is approximately a 5-minute walk from the bus stop. Just follow Brekkutún, and you should see the entrance to Tjóðsavnið on your left.
