From the center of Sørvágur, head towards the main road (Road 59) that leads out of the village. Walk northwest along the road until you reach the sign for 'Gasadalur.' This will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace. Follow the road until you arrive in the village of Gasadalur. Once in Gasadalur, look for a path that leads up towards the cliffs. The path is well-marked and should take around 15-20 minutes to reach the waterfall. The Múlafossur Waterfall is located just beyond the village, and you will hear the sound of the water as you approach.

If you are feeling adventurous, you can take a scenic hiking trail from Sørvágur directly to Múlafossur Waterfall. Start by walking towards the south side of Sørvágur and look for the hiking trail that leads up the hillside. This hike can take about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your fitness level. The trail offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape and the ocean. Follow the markers along the way to ensure you stay on the right path. Eventually, the trail will lead you to the edge of the cliff overlooking the waterfall. Be cautious near the edge, as it can be steep.
