Driving
From Tórshavn, follow Route 10 towards Eysturoy. Continue onto Route 201, which leads directly to the Eysturoy Tunnel entrance near Hvítanes. Be prepared for a toll. The toll for Eysturoyartunnilin is DKK 175 one way. Payment can be made online up to 6 days after driving through the tunnel.

Public Transport
Take bus 400 from Tórshavn to Oyrarbakki, then transfer to bus 200 towards Runavík or 201 towards Gjogv. Alight near the tunnel entrance.
