Driving
From Vágar Airport, drive west on Route 22 towards Sørvágur. In Sørvágur, follow Route 45 towards Gásadalur. Drive through the one-lane Gásadalstunnilin tunnel (1.4 km). Upon exiting the tunnel, you'll arrive in Gásadalur. Follow signs to the designated parking area near the waterfall. Parking is free. Be mindful of driving conditions and rules.

Public Transport
From Tórshavn, take bus 300 to Sørvágur. Transfer to bus 350, which will take you to Gásadalur. The bus journey from Sørvágur to Gásadalur takes approximately 7 minutes. A multi-day travel card (excluding Mykines) costs 500 DKK for four days. Check the Strandfaraskip Landsins (SSL) website for the most up-to-date bus schedules.

Walking
For a scenic approach, hike the old village path from Bøur to Gásadalur (Postman's Trail). About 350 meters before the Gásadalstunnilin tunnel entrance, there's a gravel road which branches off on the left side. Follow this gravel road to the small car park, marked with a Bøur-Gásadalur trailhead info board. The hike offers views of Drangarnir sea stack, Tindhólmur Island, Gáshólmur Island, and Mykines Island. Be prepared for a steep and challenging climb.
