Walking
From the center of Strendur, head south on the main road (Strendurvej). Continue walking straight for about 1.5 km until you reach the junction with the road leading to Hoyvík. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating Hoyvík and take a left turn onto Karlamagnusarbreyt. Walk along this road for approximately 2 km. Hoyvikar Kirkja will be on your right at the address 26HH+VXM, Karlamagnusarbreyt, Hoyvík 188. It’s a prominent building, so you should be able to spot it easily.
Public Transport
From Strendur, catch the bus heading towards Tórshavn. The bus stop is located near the center of Strendur. Ensure you board the correct bus that stops at Hoyvík. After a short ride of about 15-20 minutes, get off at the Hoyvík bus stop. From there, walk along Karlamagnusarbreyt for about 500 meters, and you will reach Hoyvikar Kirkja located at 26HH+VXM, Karlamagnusarbreyt, Hoyvík 188.
