From Strendur, start your journey by heading north on the main road (Road 10). Continue walking for about 45 minutes until you reach the village of Trøllanes. The road is mostly flat and offers beautiful views of the coastline. As you enter Trøllanes, look for signs directing you towards Kallur Lighthouse.
Hiking
Once you arrive in Trøllanes, locate the trailhead for the hike to Kallur Lighthouse, which is well-marked. The hike is approximately 1.5 kilometers (about 1 mile) and will take you about 30-45 minutes to reach the lighthouse. The path is steep in sections, and you'll be rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding cliffs and ocean. Follow the trail signs, and be careful on the rocky terrain.
Walking
Upon reaching Kallur Lighthouse, take time to explore the area and enjoy the breathtaking views. The lighthouse itself is a picturesque sight, and you may also find a memorial dedicated to James Bond nearby. After your visit, retrace your steps back down the hiking trail to Trøllanes, and then walk back to Strendur along the main road.
