From the center of Strendur, begin your journey by walking towards the main road, Route 10. Head north along the road until you reach the bus stop located near the Strendur church. At this point, you will need to catch a bus heading towards Klaksvík. The buses are operated by the public transport service, so make sure to check the schedule for the next available bus to Klaksvík.
Bus
Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride which will take approximately 30 minutes. The bus will travel through beautiful landscapes along the coast. Disembark at the Klaksvík bus station. From there, you will need to walk to Klakkur. Head towards the east side of the bus station and follow the signs directing you to Klakkur. The hike will take about 1 to 1.5 hours depending on your pace.
