    From the center of Strendur, head south on the main road, Strømtún, for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Ovari Vegur. Turn right onto Ovari Vegur. Continue walking along this road for approximately 3.5 kilometers. You will pass through scenic landscapes and a few houses along the way. Rinkusteinar is located on your left side near the coast, identifiable by its unique rock formations.

    Catch the bus from the Strendur bus stop heading towards Oyndarfjørður. The bus service is operated by the local transport company.
