From Strendur, start at the local bus stop in the center of the village. Head towards the main road (Route 10) and walk along it towards Sandavágur. This route will take you along the coast, providing scenic views of the ocean. It is approximately a 3.5 km walk, which should take around 45 minutes. Once you reach Sandavágur, continue following the main road until you see signs for Witches Finger (Troellkonufingur).
Bicycle
If you have a bicycle, follow the same route as described for walking. The ride from Strendur to Sandavágur is approximately 3.5 km along Route 10. This route is suitable for cycling and will take about 15-20 minutes. Once you reach Sandavágur, look for signs leading to the Witches Finger trailhead.
Hiking
For those looking for a more adventurous route, you can hike from Strendur through the hills towards Sandavágur. This will involve navigating through some local trails and may take longer (about 1.5 hours). Start by heading towards the hills behind Strendur, and follow marked trails leading towards Sandavágur. Once in Sandavágur, follow signs for Witches Finger.
