After approximately 5 kilometers, take a left onto Route 27, which leads to Hvannhagi. Follow Route 27 for about 8 kilometers, and you will see signs for Hvannhagi. There is parking available near the start of the hiking trail.

    To reach Hvannhagi via public transport, first take a bus from Tvøroyri. Check the local bus schedules, as they may vary. You will want to take the bus that heads towards Hvalba and then transfers at Hvalba to a bus going to Húsavík. From Húsavík, you can catch another bus heading to the Hvannhagi area.
