Car
From Tórshavn, take Route 10 towards Vágar Island. Once on the island, follow signs for Sørvágsvatn. Continue on Route 40, passing through Miðvágur. After Miðvágur, keep following Route 40 until you reach Haldarsvík. Once you arrive in Haldarsvík, look for signs directing you towards Fossá. The waterfall is located at coordinates 62.2511° N, 7.0777° W, so you may also enter these coordinates in your GPS. Parking is available near the waterfall.

Public Transportation
Take the bus from Tórshavn to Vágar Island. Buses leave regularly from the bus terminal in Tórshavn. You will need to get off at Miðvágur, where you can transfer to a local bus service that heads towards Haldarsvík. The local bus may have limited service, so check the schedule in advance. Once you arrive in Haldarsvík, follow the signs to Fossá, which is within walking distance from the bus stop.

If you are already in Haldarsvík, the waterfall Fossá is a short hike from the village. Start from the center of Haldarsvík and head towards the coast. Follow the path that leads towards the waterfall, which is approximately 1.5 kilometers away and will take about 20-30 minutes to walk.
