If you're traveling by car, start from the capital, Tórshavn. Head northwest on Route 10. After approximately 45 minutes, you will arrive at a junction; take Route 59 towards Vestmanna. Continue on Route 59 for about 12 km. When you reach the town of Vestmanna, follow the signs to Route 60 towards Tjørnuvík. After about 20 km on Route 60, you will arrive in Tjørnuvík. Follow the signs towards the beach, where you can find parking available near the beach area. Note that parking may incur a small fee.

If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Tórshavn to Tjørnuvík. Buses to Tjørnuvík are operated by the local bus company, and you can find the schedule at the bus terminal in Tórshavn. The journey takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Tjørnuvík, follow the signs to Tjørnuvik Beach, which is a short walk from the bus stop. Ensure to check the return bus schedule for your journey back, as buses may not run frequently.
