    From Lautoka city center, head west on Vitogo Parade. Continue straight until the roundabout. Take the second exit onto the Fiji Highway (Queens Road). Walk along the highway for about 600 meters. The mosque is located at 1 Mana St, on the right.

The Lautoka Jame Masjid, also known as Lautoka Jamia Masjid, stands as a beacon of peace and spirituality in the heart of Lautoka, Fiji. As a prominent place of worship, it attracts local Muslims and tourists interested in learning about Islamic faith and culture. The current three-story building, completed in 2019, is known for its arched doors and white marble structure. It can accommodate up to 4,000 worshippers. The mosque serves as a gathering point for the local Muslim community, hosting community events and educational programs. Visitors can observe the serene atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for contemplation and reflection. In 1928, it was captured that a mosque was under construction in Lautoka. The former president of the Fiji Muslim League, Musa Vali Suleman Patel, served as imam of the mosque for nearly 30 years. Patel was murdered in the 2019 Christchurch mosque shootings, in New Zealand. In 2020, the Prime Minister of New Zealand, Jacinda Ardern, visited the mosque and unveiled a plaque in honor of Patel and the other two Fijians killed in the Christchurch shooting. When visiting, it is recommended to dress modestly, respecting the customs of this sacred space. The mosque is easily accessible and offers a peaceful respite from the vibrant energy of Lautoka.
