Getting There

  • Taxi

    From Lautoka, the most direct way to reach Koroyanitu National Heritage Park is by taxi. Taxis are readily available in Lautoka. Arrange for a 4WD taxi, especially during the rainy season, as the road to Abaca Village can be rough. The journey to Abaca Village, the 'base camp' for the park, takes approximately 30 minutes. Expect to pay around FJD $20-30 for the taxi ride. Park entry fee is FJD $30 for tourists.

    If driving from Lautoka, head inland towards Abaca Village. The journey is approximately 15 km and takes about 30 minutes. A 4WD vehicle is recommended due to the rough road conditions, especially during the rainy season. As of April 2023, major improvements have been made to the road, but it's still recommended to exercise caution. Park entry fee is FJD $30 for tourists.

Koroyanitu National Heritage Park, established in 1993, offers a captivating escape into the heart of Fiji's natural beauty and cultural heritage.
