Fiji Culture Village, situated in Nacaqara, Navo, near Nadi, is a unique destination that showcases Fiji's vibrant culture and traditions. Founded in 2012 by Peter and Rosie Pan, the village spans 29 acres and offers visitors an immersive experience into Fijian life. Visitors can explore traditionally built bures (huts), each demonstrating different aspects of Fijian village life, including pottery making, mat weaving, wood carving, and more. The village also features cultural performances such as the Meke dance and fire dancing, providing insight into Fijian history and mythology. A highlight is the traditional kava ceremony, a welcoming ritual where visitors can partake in the traditional drink. The village offers both daytime and evening tours. The daytime tour includes a guided village tour, demonstrations of traditional crafts, and a light lunch. The evening tour features a lovo feast, where food is cooked in an underground oven, and a spectacular Meke show with fire dancers. The Fiji Culture Village aims to preserve and showcase Fijian culture, offering an educational and entertaining experience for all ages.
