Walking
From central Suva, such as the Government Buildings, walk east along Victoria Parade. Turn left onto Cakobau Road and continue for approximately 1 kilometer. The Fiji Museum will be on your right, within Thurston Gardens.
Public Transport
From various points in Suva, board a local bus heading towards the city center. Check with the driver to ensure the bus stops near Cakobau Road. Alight at the bus stop closest to the intersection of Victoria Parade and Cakobau Road. Walk left onto Cakobau Road and continue straight for about 1 kilometer. The museum will be on your right. Bus fare is approximately FJD 1-2.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available throughout Suva. Ask the driver to take you to the Fiji Museum on Cakobau Road, within Thurston Gardens. A short taxi ride from the city center will cost approximately FJD 2-3.
