Getting There

• Public Transport

  Start your journey at the nearest metro station, which is 'Aalto-yliopisto'. Take the metro towards 'Keskustunnel' and travel for one stop to 'Keilaniemi'. Once you arrive at Keilaniemi, exit the metro station and head towards the bus stop located at the street level. Look for bus number 165, which operates towards 'Niinikkala'. Board the bus and stay on for about 15 minutes, getting off at the 'Meerlampi' stop. From the bus stop, walk straight ahead for about 400 meters until you reach the Meerlampi Cave area, following the signs.

• Walking

  If you are within walking distance from the nearest point of interest such as the Aalto University, you can start walking towards Meerlampi Cave. Head north on the main road until you reach the intersection with the 'Tekniikantie' road. Turn right onto Tekniikantie and continue straight until you reach the 'Meerlampi' area. The cave is located approximately 2 kilometers from Aalto University, so expect to walk for around 25 to 30 minutes. Look for signposts leading to Meerlampi Cave along the way.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the bike rental stations in Espoo. Start your ride from the city center and head towards 'Keilaniemi'. Follow the dedicated bike lanes along the scenic routes. Once you reach 'Meerlampi', the cave is located close to the lake. The cycling distance is approximately 5 kilometers, which should take around 15 to 20 minutes.
