Getting There

Walking
From the Kallio district, head south towards Alppiharju. Start at the intersection of Helsinginkatu and Porthaninkatu. Walk down Helsinginkatu until you reach the intersection with Sturenkatu. Turn right onto Sturenkatu. Continue straight for about 500 meters, and you will see the Helsinki Hall of Culture (Kulttuuritalo) on your right at Sturenkatu 4.

Public Transport - Tram
If you prefer to take public transport, you can catch Tram 3 from the nearest tram stop (Kumpula) which is just a short walk from the center of Kallio. Ride the tram for about 5 stops (approximately 10 minutes) and get off at the Sturenkatu stop. From there, walk a short distance back along Sturenkatu towards the north for about 200 meters, and you will reach the Helsinki Hall of Culture. Note that a single tram ticket costs around €2.80, which you can purchase from ticket machines at the tram stop.

Public Transport - Bus
You can also take Bus 23 from the Kallio area. Board the bus at the nearest stop (Kallio Church) and ride for about 10 minutes. Get off at the stop called 'Sturenkatu.' From there, walk about 300 meters down Sturenkatu, and you will see the Helsinki Hall of Culture on your left. A bus ticket costs approximately €2.80, and tickets can be purchased from the bus driver or ticket vending machines.
