If you are driving, start from the Koli National Park Visitor Center located at Koli, Finland. Head southeast on Koli road (Kolientie) towards Lieksa. After approximately 20 kilometers, take a left turn onto the Tarhapuro road (Tarhapuron tie). Continue straight for about 5 kilometers, and you will reach the parking area near the Tarhapuro Waterfall. From the parking lot, it is a short walk of about 1 kilometer to the waterfall.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from the Koli National Park Visitor Center to Lieksa. Check the local bus schedule for current times. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Lieksa, you will need to take a taxi to the Tarhapuro Waterfall. The taxi ride will take approximately 15 minutes and may cost around 20-30 euros. Please ensure to confirm the taxi fare with the driver beforehand. Upon reaching the nearest road to the waterfall, you will have to walk about 1 kilometer to reach the waterfall.
