Getting There

• Car

  To reach Helsingin Kaupunginteatteri from Levi by car, begin your journey on Route 79 towards Kittilä. Continue on this road for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 21. Take a right onto Route 21 and follow it south for about 30 kilometers until you hit the E75 highway. Merge onto E75 and follow signs towards Helsinki. After approximately 800 kilometers, take the exit towards Länsi-Pasila and follow the signs for 'Helsingin Kaupunginteatteri'. The theater is located at Ensi linja 2, 00530 Helsinki. There is parking available nearby, but be aware there may be parking fees.

• Public Transportation (Bus and Train)

  To get to Helsingin Kaupunginteatteri from Levi using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Levi to Kittilä. The bus ride takes about 15 minutes. Once at Kittilä, transfer to the bus heading to Rovaniemi. This journey takes approximately 1.5 hours. In Rovaniemi, you will need to change to a train bound for Helsinki. The train ride will take around 8 hours. After arriving at Helsinki Central Station, exit the station and walk to the Kamppi bus terminal, which is about a 10-minute walk. From Kamppi, catch bus number 14 or 18, which will take you to the stop 'Helsingin Kaupunginteatteri'. The entire journey may take over 10 hours, so plan accordingly. Note that purchasing tickets for the bus and train will incur costs.
