Public Transport - Bus

Start your journey by heading to the Oulu Bus Station, which is centrally located in Oulu. From there, take Bus number 19 towards 'Kumpula.' The bus will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Huutilampi' stop. Once you disembark, you will be within walking distance of Huutilampi National Reserve. Follow the signs to the reserve, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.

Bicycle

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental services in Oulu. Head towards the Oulu City Center and find the bike path that leads to the northern outskirts of the city. Follow the bike path towards the direction of Huutilampi. The ride will take about 25-30 minutes, and once you reach the reserve, there are bike racks available for you to secure your bike.

Walking

For those feeling adventurous, you can walk to Huutilampi from the city center. Start at the Oulu Market Square and head north along the river. Follow the river path until you reach the Huutilampi area. This will take about 1.5 hours, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
