Follow the signs for Hämeenlinna, which is approximately a 30-40 minute drive, depending on your exact starting point. Once you arrive in Hämeenlinna, look for Kustaa III:n katu. The Prison Museum is located at Kustaa III:n katu 8, 13100 Hämeenlinna. There is parking available nearby, but be sure to check for any parking fees.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, first check for local bus services that operate from various towns in Päijät-Häme to Hämeenlinna. You can take a bus to Hämeenlinna's main bus station. From the bus station, it is about a 15-minute walk to the Prison Museum. Exit the bus station and head northeast on Hallituskatu.
