If you are in the Porvoo city center, start at the Porvoo Cathedral (Porvoon tuomiokirkko). From the cathedral, head down the hill towards the river. Turn left onto the riverside promenade and walk along the riverside until you reach the bridge (Porvoonjoki). Cross the bridge, and continue straight on Aleksanterinkatu (the main street). After about 500 meters, turn right onto Koulukuja street. Continue walking straight for about 200 meters, and The Devil's Stairs will be on your left. Look for the distinctive staircase leading down.

If you are further from the center, take bus number 1 or 2 from the Porvoo bus station. Both routes stop near the city center. Once you arrive at the stop 'Porvoo City Centre', disembark and follow the directions from the cathedral as mentioned above. This option may take longer due to waiting times for the bus, but it is a convenient way to reach the center before walking.
