Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Porvoo city center, head towards the bus station located at the intersection of Länsikatu and Aleksanterinkatu. Once you reach the bus station, take Bus 200 towards Helsinki. The journey will take approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at the Helsinki bus station, exit the bus and walk towards the main street, Kamppi. From there, you can take the Metro or continue walking. If walking, head northwest on Mannerheimintie toward Kumpulantie, then turn left onto Snellmaninkatu. The House of the Estates will be on your left at Snellmaninkatu 9-11.

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Porvoo. Start from the Porvoo Market Square and head towards the main road leading to Helsinki. Follow the signs for the Helsinki bike route which will take you through scenic areas. The bike ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Upon reaching Helsinki, continue on the designated bike paths until you reach Snellmaninkatu. Lock your bike at the nearest bike rack and walk to the House of the Estates at Snellmaninkatu 9-11.
