If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Ruka and head south on Route 5 (E75) towards Kuusamo. Drive for about 25 kilometers until you reach the junction with Kitkantie. Take a right onto Kitkantie and continue for approximately 3 kilometers. The Marina Takalon memorial will be on your left at Kitkantie 35, 93600 Kuusamo. There is parking available nearby.
