From Ruka-Kuusamo, head southeast on the E75 road (the main highway). Continue for approximately 21 kilometers until you reach the junction with Myllykoskentie road. Turn left onto Myllykoskentie and follow the road for about 4 kilometers. The Myllykoski Rapids will be on your right. There is a small parking area available near the rapids.

First, take a local bus from Ruka-Kuusamo to Kuusamo city center. You can check the bus schedule at the local bus station. Once in Kuusamo, transfer to a bus heading towards Oulanka National Park. Confirm with the driver that the bus stops near Myllykoskentie. The walk from the bus stop to the Myllykoski Rapids is about 1 kilometer along Myllykoskentie road.
