Car
From Ruka, head southeast on Rukatunturintie road. Continue straight for about 15 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 5 (E63). Turn right onto Route 5 and drive for approximately 10 kilometers. Take the exit toward Kuusamo (Route 20). After about 5 kilometers, turn left onto Liikasenvaarantie. Continue on this road for about 3 kilometers until you reach Kiutaköngäs, which will be located on your left. Parking is available near the site.

Start at the Ruka bus stop. Take the local bus towards Kuusamo (buses typically run every hour). The journey takes about 20-30 minutes. Get off at the Kuusamo bus station. From there, you may need to take a taxi or arrange for a local shuttle service to reach Kiutaköngäs, as public transport options may be limited directly to the site. The taxi fare to Kiutaköngäs should be around 25-30 euros.
