To reach Varjola by car from Ruka, start by heading south on the E63 highway. Follow the signs for Kuusamo and continue on the E63 for approximately 40 km. Take the exit toward Highway 5 (E75) and merge onto it. Continue for about 20 km, then take the exit toward Kuusa.
