Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Mikkeli. Head southeast on Rantakatu toward Havukatu. After about 1 km, merge onto the E18 highway. Continue on E18 for approximately 5 km and take the exit toward Lahdentie. After exiting, turn left onto Lahdentie (road number 79). Continue on Lahdentie for about 6 km, and you will see signs for Kommeli Caves. The caves will be located on your right side, just before reaching the address Lahdentie 79, 50600 Mikkeli.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start at the Mikkeli bus station. You can take a local bus towards Lahdenpohja. Buses typically run every hour. After about 30 minutes of travel, disembark at the Lahdentie stop. From there, it’s a 1 km walk to Kommeli Caves. Follow Lahdentie eastward, and you will find the caves on your left at number 79.
