    Getting There

    Walking

    If you are starting from the center of Tampere, head towards the main railway station (Tampereen rautatieasema). From the station, walk south on Hatanpään valtatie until you reach the intersection with Pyynikintori square. Continue straight onto Pyynikintie street. After about 1 kilometer, you will see signs for Pyynikki Park (Pyynikinharjun ulkoilualue). Follow the signs, and you will arrive at the base of the Pyynikki Stairs.

    Public Transport - Tram

    If you prefer to take public transport, you can catch tram number 3 from any tram stop in the city center. Ride the tram towards 'Pyynikintie' and get off at the 'Pyynikintie' stop. From there, walk up Pyynikintie street for about 500 meters until you reach Pyynikki Park. The stairs will be located within the park area.

    Public Transport - Bus

    You can also take bus number 14 from the Tampere bus station. Board the bus heading towards 'Pyynikki' and alight at the 'Pyynikki' stop. After getting off, walk towards the Pyynikki Park entrance. The Pyynikki Stairs will be located inside the park, just a short walk away.
