Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Tampere Railway Station, exit the station and head northeast on Ratapihankatu. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Hatanpään valtatie. Turn left onto Hatanpään valtatie and walk for about 10 minutes. You will see the Cathedral's distinctive tower in the distance. When you reach the intersection with Tuomiokirkonkatu, turn right. The Cathedral will be on your left at Tuomiokirkonkatu 3b.

  • Public Transport - Tram

    From the Tampere Railway Station, walk to the nearest tram stop, which is located just outside the station. Take Tram 1 or Tram 2 towards Hervanta. Get off at the 'Tulli' stop after approximately 5 minutes. From there, walk north on Tuomiokirkonkatu for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Tampere Cathedral, located at Tuomiokirkonkatu 3b.

    If you are near the bus station or a bus stop, take any bus that goes towards the city center. Ask the driver to drop you off at the 'Keskustori' stop.
