Car
If you're driving, start from Turku city center. Head towards the Turku Archipelago region by taking the E18 highway towards Naantali. After approximately 15 km, take the exit toward Naantali which leads you onto Route 190. Continue on Route 190 until you reach the ferry terminal at Pärnäinen. The ferry to Loistokari departs from here. Ensure to check the ferry schedule in advance as the frequency may vary. The ferry ride takes around 30 minutes.
Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Turku to Naantali. Bus lines 1 and 2 regularly connect Turku and Naantali. Once in Naantali, make your way to the Pärnäinen ferry terminal, which is a short walk from the bus station. From Pärnäinen, you can catch the ferry to Loistokari. Again, check the ferry schedule for departure times and be aware that tickets for the ferry may be purchased on-site.
Ferry
The ferry ride from Pärnäinen to Loistokari is a beautiful journey through the archipelago. Make sure to arrive at the terminal 15-30 minutes before departure to allow time for ticket purchase and boarding. Keep in mind that ferry tickets may incur a cost (around €10-€15 for a round trip).
