Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey in Turku city center. Head southwest on E18 towards Naantali. After approximately 15 km, take the exit towards Naantali/Isokari. Continue on this road for about 10 km until you reach the Naantali ferry terminal. From there, take the ferry to the island of Kutukari. The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes and may incur a cost of around €10 per person, so make sure to have cash or a credit card ready. Once you arrive at Kutukari, follow the local signs to explore the island.
Public Transportation (Bus + Ferry)
For those using public transport, begin your journey at the Turku bus station. Take bus number 1 or 2 to Naantali, which runs frequently. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Naantali, follow the signs to the ferry terminal. Purchase your ferry ticket to Kutukari at the terminal, which will cost approximately €10. The ferry ride lasts about 30 minutes. Once you disembark, follow the local signage to your desired locations on the island.
Bicycle
For adventurous travelers, consider cycling to the Naantali ferry terminal. From Turku, take the scenic bike path along the coastline, which is approximately 15 km. Once you reach Naantali, park your bicycle at the terminal and take the ferry to Kutukari. The ferry ride is approximately 30 minutes, and the cost is roughly €10 for the ferry.
