From the Vaasa city center, head to the nearest bus stop, which is 'Vaasa Rautatieasema' (Vaasa Railway Station). You can take bus number 1 or 7 towards 'Kalaranta'. The bus ride takes approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Kalaranta' bus stop. Once you disembark, Kalaranta Park is just a short walk away. Head towards Rantakatu, and you will see the park entrance directly ahead.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from the city center, start at the Vaasa Market Square (Vaasan Kauppatori). Head southwest on Kauppatori towards Hallituskatu. Continue straight until you reach Rantakatu. Turn left onto Rantakatu and walk along the waterfront. Kalaranta Park will be on your right side, located at Rantakatu 14. The walk takes approximately 25-30 minutes.
Bicycle Rental
For a more active option, consider renting a bicycle. There are several rental shops near the city center. Rent a bike and head towards Rantakatu. Follow the bike path along the shore, which leads directly to Kalaranta Park. The ride is enjoyable and takes about 15 minutes, allowing you to enjoy the views of the waterfront.
