Walking
Starting from the Vaasa Market Square (Kauppatori), head northwest on the street called Kauppakatu. Walk straight for about 800 meters until you reach the junction with Hovioikeudenpuistikko. Continue straight onto Hovioikeudenpuistikko for another 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Rantakatu. At the intersection, turn left onto Rantakatu. Keep walking along Rantakatu for around 1 kilometer until you see a sign for Gamla Vasa kanal on your right. Turn right and follow the path leading to the canal.

Public Transport
From the Vaasa Market Square (Kauppatori), take bus number 5 from the nearby bus stop. The bus heads towards the Ristinummi area. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the 'Rantakatu' stop. Once you exit, walk down Rantakatu for about 500 meters, then look for a path leading to Gamla Vasa kanal on your left. Follow that path to reach the canal.
