If you are driving, start by entering your GPS coordinates or the address '11009 Tarpon Springs Rd, Odessa, FL 33556'. From central Florida, take I-275 N if you are coming from Tampa. Merge onto FL-54 W and continue for about 12 miles. Turn left onto Tarpon Springs Rd. After about 1 mile, you will find Lake Frances Nature Preserve on your right. There is no fee for parking.

To reach Lake Frances Nature Preserve via public transportation, take the HART bus service from Tampa. Board the bus at the Marion Transit Center and take route 46 towards the Pasco County area. You will need to transfer at the nearest stop to FL-54 W.
