Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, head to Cape Canaveral and use the following directions: From any central point in Cape Canaveral, navigate towards SR 528 (the Beachline Expressway). Take the exit for SR 3 North towards Cape Canaveral. Continue on SR 3 until you reach the intersection with Orange Avenue. Turn left onto Orange Avenue. Sandpiper Park will be located on your right at 7920 Orange Ave, Cape Canaveral, FL 32920. There is ample parking available at the park.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, check for bus routes that service Cape Canaveral. The Space Coast Area Transit (SCAT) operates buses in the area. You can take Bus Route 9, which runs along SR 528 and stops near the Cocoa Beach area. Disembark at the closest stop to Orange Avenue, then walk west along Orange Avenue towards Sandpiper Park, which is approximately a 20-minute walk. Make sure to check the SCAT website for the latest schedules and fares, which typically cost around $1.00 per ride.

• Biking

  For those who enjoy biking, Cape Canaveral has several bike lanes. If you’re staying nearby, you can ride your bike to Sandpiper Park. Head towards Orange Avenue and follow the bike lanes until you reach the park at 7920 Orange Ave. There is also bike parking available at the park.
