From Clearwater Beach, walk to the nearest bus stop on Mandalay Ave. Take the PSTA Route 60 bus heading towards Tarpon Springs. Get off at the stop at East Lake Road South and Tampa Road. From there, transfer to Route 19 and take the bus heading south. Get off at the stop near 2200 E Lake Rd S. Walk the remaining distance to John Chesnut Sr. Park, which is located on the left.

If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Clearwater Beach. Head east on Mandalay Ave until you reach the intersection with Gulf Blvd. Turn right onto Gulf Blvd and continue until you reach the intersection with East Bay Drive. Turn left on East Bay Drive and follow it until you reach East Lake Road S. Turn right on East Lake Road S, and John Chesnut Sr. Park will be on your left.

From downtown Clearwater, you can walk to John Chesnut Sr. Park. Head east on Cleveland St until you reach the intersection with Fort Harrison Ave. Turn right and continue until you reach East Bay Drive. Turn left on East Bay Drive and walk north until you arrive at East Lake Road S. Turn right on East Lake Road S, and you will find the park on your left.
