Getting There

• Public Bus

  To reach Treasure Island from Clearwater, start by walking to the nearest bus stop for the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) bus service. You can catch the bus at the Clearwater Transit Center located at 610 Court St, Clearwater, FL 33756. Take Bus Route 60 heading towards St. Pete Beach. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop for Treasure Island (check the bus schedule for exact timings). From there, it's a short walk to the beach area where you can enjoy the beautiful Treasure Island.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you’re up for a bike ride, consider renting a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Clearwater. Head towards the Pinellas Trail, which is a scenic route that takes you along the coast. Follow the trail south towards Treasure Island. The ride will take about an hour, and you’ll have the chance to enjoy the beautiful views along the way. As you approach Treasure Island, look for signs directing you to the beach.

• Walking

  If you’re feeling adventurous and want to walk, head south from Clearwater Beach towards the Sand Key Park. From there, continue walking along the beach and follow the shoreline. The distance to Treasure Island is approximately 4 miles, so it will take you a good couple of hours. This scenic walk will provide you with stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico. Once you reach Treasure Island, you’ll find the beach area and local attractions.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  For a more direct route, you can use a taxi or a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft. Simply request a ride to Treasure Island, and the driver will navigate you to your destination. This option is convenient and may take around 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm your destination with the driver to ensure you arrive at the right spot.
