From Clearwater, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) bus route 300 towards St. Petersburg. This bus will take you directly to the St. Petersburg area. You should get off at the last stop and transfer to the PSTA bus route 18, which will bring you closer to Tropicana Field. Once you get off the bus, follow the signs for Tropicana Field, which is just a short walk away.
