Public Bus

Start at the Clearwater Transit Center located at 610 E. Drew Street, Clearwater, FL 33755. Board the Route 60 bus heading towards Tarpon Springs. Stay on the bus for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the stop near Clearwater Beach. Once you disembark, walk towards the beach, heading south on Mandalay Avenue. Continue walking until you reach the roundabout at the south end of Mandalay Avenue. From the roundabout, take the path leading towards Unnamed Road. The Henry Scharrer Homestead is located along this road, just a short walk from the beach.
Bicycle Rental

If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Clearwater Beach, such as Beach Bike Rentals located at 1 Causeway Blvd. Once you have your bike, head south along Mandalay Avenue towards the beach. After reaching the beach, continue biking along the shoreline until you approach the roundabout at the end of Mandalay Avenue. From there, take the path leading towards Unnamed Road. The Henry Scharrer Homestead will be on your left side as you ride along the road.
