Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Destin Beach and head east on US-98. Continue straight for about 1.5 miles. Then, take a left onto Scenic Highway 98 (also known as East Scenic Highway 98). After approximately 0.5 miles, turn right onto Ocean Blvd. Destiny By the Sea Guardshack will be on your left at 4811 Ocean Blvd. Parking is usually available on the street, but be aware of any local parking regulations.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can catch the Emerald Coast shuttle service, which operates around Destin Beach. Look for the route that goes along US-98. Get off at the stop nearest to Scenic Highway 98. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk: head south on Scenic Highway 98 until you reach Ocean Blvd. Turn left onto Ocean Blvd and walk about 0.5 miles until you reach Destiny By the Sea Guardshack at 4811 Ocean Blvd. Note that shuttle fares are typically around $2 per ride.

• Bicycle

  If you're feeling adventurous and want to enjoy the beach atmosphere, consider renting a bicycle. Several rental shops in Destin offer this service. Start on the beach bike paths and head toward Scenic Highway 98. Once you reach the intersection, turn left and follow Scenic Highway 98 until you reach Ocean Blvd. Turn right on Ocean Blvd and continue until you find Destiny By the Sea Guardshack at 4811 Ocean Blvd. Bike rentals typically cost around $15-$30 per day.

• Walking

  If you are already near the beach, walking is a great option. Make your way to Scenic Highway 98 and head south until you reach Ocean Blvd. Turn left on Ocean Blvd and walk for about 0.5 miles. Destiny By the Sea Guardshack will be on your left at 4811 Ocean Blvd. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated, especially on hot days.
