If you are staying in the heart of Destin, start at the Destin Commons shopping center located at 4100 Legendary Dr. Walk south on Legendary Dr until you reach the intersection with Emerald Coast Parkway (US-98). Cross the highway at the crosswalk and continue onto Scenic Highway 98. Follow Scenic Highway 98 for about 1.5 miles until you reach the entrance to Destin Beach at 1950 Scenic Hwy 98. Look for the beach access sign on your right.

Carefully cross the highway using the pedestrian crosswalk and continue east on Scenic Highway 98. Follow this road for about 2 miles; you will see the beach access at 1950 Scenic Hwy 98 on your right. There are bike racks available for parking your bike.
