Car
From the main entrance of Everglades National Park, head east on the Homestead Extension of Florida's Turnpike (FL-821). Follow the signs to FL-93 N / Krome Ave. After approximately 12 miles, take the exit for SW 162nd Avenue and turn left onto SW 162nd Avenue. Continue for about 2 miles, and you will find Castellow Hammock Preserve & Nature Center on your left at 22301 SW 162nd Ave, Miami, FL 33170. Parking is available on-site.

Take the Miami-Dade Transit Metrobus Route 38 from the nearest bus stop to your location in Everglades National Park. This bus will take you to the nearest transit station. From there, transfer to Metrobus Route 252, which will take you towards the vicinity of Castellow Hammock Preserve & Nature Center. Be sure to check the Miami-Dade Transit schedule for the latest departure times and routes. Upon arriving at the closest stop, you may need to walk approximately 0.5 miles to reach the center.
