Car
If you are driving from any location within Everglades National Park, you will want to take the main road out of the park. Start by heading north on the main park road, which will eventually lead you to US-41 (Tamiami Trail). Once you reach US-41, turn left (west) and continue on this road. After approximately 15 miles, you will reach the intersection with SW 192nd Ave. Turn right onto SW 192nd Ave, and after about 1.5 miles, you will find Everglades Outpost on your left at 35601 SW 192nd Ave, Homestead, FL 33034. There is no entrance fee specifically for the Outpost, but there may be parking fees depending on the area.
Public Transportation
To reach Everglades Outpost via public transportation, you will first need to take a bus from your location within Everglades National Park to a nearby city. The closest major public transportation hub is in Homestead. From the park, take a shuttle service (if available) or arrange for a rideshare service to get to the nearest bus stop. Depending on your starting point, you can take the Miami-Dade Transit bus route 38 from the nearest bus stop to Homestead. Once you arrive in Homestead, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to Everglades Outpost at 35601 SW 192nd Ave, Homestead, FL 33034. Be aware that public transportation schedules may vary, so check the local transit authority’s website for the latest information.
