    If you are traveling by car within Everglades National Park, start from the Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center. Take the Main Park Road (State Road 9336) heading west. Drive approximately 20 miles until you reach the intersection with the Royal Palm Visitor Center. Continue on the Main Park Road for another 4 miles until you see the sign for Otter Cave Hammock Trail. Turn left into the trailhead parking area. Note that there is a park entrance fee of $30 per vehicle, valid for 7 days.

Look for shuttle services that drop off at the Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center.
