Car
If you are driving within Everglades National Park, head towards the main park road, which is the Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center Road. From the visitor center, follow the signs for the Main Park Road (State Road 9336). Continue along this road until you reach US-41. Merge onto US-41 East toward Miami. Keep driving for approximately 12 miles until you reach Ochopee. Turn left onto SW 8th St. Tippy's Outpost will be located at 39025 SW 8th St, Ochopee, FL 34141, on your right.
Public Transportation
Public transportation options are limited in Everglades National Park. The best way to reach Tippy's Outpost using public transport is to take a shuttle service from the park entrance to nearby locations. From the Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center, you may be able to arrange for a shuttle or taxi to take you to Ochopee. Be sure to confirm availability and costs in advance, as services may vary. Upon reaching Ochopee, you can walk or take a short taxi ride to Tippy's Outpost, which is located at 39025 SW 8th St.
Bicycle
For the more adventurous, biking from the main areas within Everglades National Park is an option. From the Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center, you can bike along the Main Park Road (State Road 9336) towards US-41. Once you reach US-41, turn left and ride about 12 miles to Ochopee.
