Getting There

• Public Bus

  If you are near the Las Olas Boulevard area, you can catch the Broward County Transit bus number 1 or 40 from the Las Olas bus stop. Ride the bus towards the 'South Florida' direction and get off at the Himmarshee Street stop. From there, it’s just a short walk east to 320 Himmarshee St, where Original Fat Cats is located.

• Water Taxi

  If you are near the Fort Lauderdale Riverwalk area, you can take the Water Taxi. Board at any of the Water Taxi stops along the New River. Take the Water Taxi to the stop at 320 Himmarshee St. Once you disembark, walk a short distance east to find Original Fat Cats.

• Walking

  If you are already in the downtown Fort Lauderdale area, you can simply walk to Original Fat Cats. Head towards Himmarshee Street, which is located near the New River. It’s approximately a 10-15 minute walk from popular spots like the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Just follow Himmarshee Street until you reach 320 Himmarshee St.

• Bicycle Rental

  You can rent a bicycle from one of the local bike-sharing services. Head towards the nearest bike station, then set your route for 320 Himmarshee St. Cycling along the scenic routes will take you approximately 10 minutes, depending on your starting point. Make sure to follow bike lanes and park your bike at the designated area near Original Fat Cats.
