Public Transportation
If you are near the Fort Lauderdale Beach area, walk to the nearest Broward County Transit bus stop. Take the Route 11 bus going towards Fort Lauderdale. Ride for about 15-20 minutes and get off at the stop at SE 17th St & SE 5th Ave. From there, walk east on SE 17th St until you reach the beach. The Caves Reef is located about 1 mile offshore, so you will need to find a local dive shop or boat tour service that operates trips to the reef.
Water Taxi
Head to the nearest water taxi stop, which you can find along the Intracoastal Waterway. Purchase a ticket for the water taxi service and board the boat. Inform the crew that you would like to get to the Fort Lauderdale area near The Caves Reef. The ride will provide scenic views and will take you to a nearby drop-off point where you can arrange a snorkeling or diving trip to The Caves Reef.
Walking/Biking
If you are staying in the vicinity of Victoria Park, you can rent a bike from a nearby rental shop. Ride south on Victoria Park Rd until you reach Las Olas Blvd. Turn left and continue until you reach the beach. From there, you will need to find a local dive shop to book a trip to The Caves Reef, as it is located offshore.
