Get off at the nearest stop to Rum Island Springs County Park, which is located at the intersection of SW Rum Island Terrace. Walk about 5 minutes south to reach the park entrance.

    You can rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in Gainesville. Start by heading south on SW 13th Street, then turn east onto SW 20th Avenue. Continue straight until you reach US-441. Cross the street and follow the bike path along the highway heading towards Fort White. This route is approximately 15 miles and should take about an hour. Once you reach the entrance of Rum Island Springs County Park, park your bicycle in the designated bike racks.
